Completion of diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology or related discipline: 3+ years of server related experience. Good troubleshooting skills in Microsoft and networking. Good understanding of Powershell and scripts creation. Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows Server 2008/2012. Expands conceptual knowledge in own discipline and broadens skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in with remote teams. Good time management skills. Highly self-motivated and directed. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast moving environment. Alberta driver’s license with ability to travel within Alberta. Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation. Able to lift objects up to 50lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:Microsoft Server current certifications MCSA, MCSE certification. Exposure to VMWare. Enterprise experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server. Microsoft System Center SCOM and SCCM experience. Understands the key industry issues; uses this knowledge in own work.
