Completion of some post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant). Knowledge and operation of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Additional Qualifications:Office/Business Administration or Medical Secretarial Certificate/Diploma. Minimum two years secretarial experience preferably in a laboratory. Microsoft Office knowledge and experience. Knowledge of office procedures and accounts payable/receivables processes. Business Applications (e-People, Markview, Oracle, iExpense, Simply Accounting). Lab Applications ( Paradigm, SoftTech and TRACCESS). Equivalent relevant training and experience as defined by ProvLab may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:Communication skills. Planning, prioritization and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Exceptional comprehension, keyboarding and computer skills. Ability to take and produce accurate, concise meeting minutes. Proficient in identifying problems and implementing solutions. Strong attention to detail. Able to work with minimal supervision and direction. Approachable, flexible, reliable team member contributing to a positive work environment.
