Post-secondary education in business, information technology or a health-related discipline. Proven equivalent knowledge will be considered. Minimum of 7 years of work experience specific to business analysis activities including application of core and advanced business analysis processes, tools and techniques. Competency in all core aspects and techniques of business analysis should be at a senior level. Excellent communication, facilitation and negotiation skills; ability to conduct group presentations effectively and efficiently including at the executive level.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proven expertise in engaging Clinical and IT stakeholders to understand business needs at a strategic level, conduct stakeholder elicitation activities effectively, adeptly manage the requirements analysis, synthesis, documentation and validation process, and facilitate hand-off to architects, developers and vendors. Solid understanding of business process design and visualization, as well as Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standards Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, planning and monitoring of one’s own workload. Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor others. Able to work in an organization with both direct and dotted-line reporting and peer relationships. Commitment to learning as a continuous improvement process and ability to handle and respond to constructive feedback. Experience working in a multi stakeholder, geographically diverse virtual team environment across disciplines and departments. Ability to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently, and often under conditions of very short, if no notice. Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources and stakeholders; partner engagement. Experience managing expectations with numerous internal and external stakeholders across multiple organizations. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:Political astuteness, excellent communication and negotiation skills and strong relationship building. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
