Required Qualifications:

5 years of progressive pension experience in an organization of significant size and complexity with at least 3 years of that experience in a leadership/supervisory capacity. Experience administering pension plans, ideally defined pension plans. Capable of interpreting policies and plan documents to make decisions and recommendations. Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to assess performance and provide ongoing development. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.


Additional Required Qualifications:

Effective verbal and written communicator with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing responsive, quality services. Proven ability to foster partnerships/build solid relationships to achieve organizational goals within a diverse organization. Strong analytical, problem solving, and resolution skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience with HR Information Systems, preferably PeopleSoft, is required. Proficient in using Excel to collate data, perform analysis, generate metrics and create template.


Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS), Chartered Professional Human Resources (CPHR), Group Benefits Associate (GBA), or Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) certification desired. Expertise in public sector HR administration, project management, business process improvement, or quality assurance.
