Post-Secondary Education: Org Development, HR, Behavioral Sciences, Adult Learning, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years: practical experience creating competency-based learning for leaders and employees, and developing leaders/employees, team effectiveness, and organizational effectiveness. Strong knowledge of the methodologies and practices of organizational effectiveness and change management. Fluent in principles of adult learning, taxonomies, and human-centered design. Demonstrated analytical decision-making, project management, group facilitation, innovative problem-solving, and internal consulting. Advanced experience collaborating in the development of learning using various methodologies. Advanced interpersonal skills and relationship building at various levels. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, evaluate, and improve others performance. Demonstrated ability to collaborate in the creation of high-quality training solutions and support material including e-learning. Demonstrated ability to work with various stakeholders with a system mindset. Knowledge of current and future trends/practices in adult, leadership and employee development. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, including presentations and facilitation.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently, often in a virtual environment, amid ambiguity and change to meet project expectations. Strong sense of urgency coupled with robust organizational and time management skills; including the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting with multiple projects and prioritize in a deadline driven environment. Strong computer skills, including MS Office, as well as the aptitude for learning new programs. Advanced understanding of use of evidence-based research and evaluation for decision-making and program development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters in a related field preferred. Relevant certifications of CSTD, CACE, CCM, and PROSCI or another related field to maintain currency and proficiency are an asset. Experience in an organization of significant size and complexity and a good understanding of the healthcare industry is preferred. Knowledge of training systems, including Learning Management Systems, a plus.
