Required Qualifications:

What you bring to the table: Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field. Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and facilitation experience. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships across a broad spectrum of internal clients and community partners. Experience developing strategic engagement plans and tactics, including consultations, outreach initiatives, and collaborations. Excellent working knowledge of best practices in stakeholder engagement theory and practice. Ability to identify and address emerging issues. Ability to schedule and deliver to tight timelines. High degree of independent thinking and the ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the following would be considered an asset: Five or more years’ experience in community engagement or stakeholder relations. IAP2 Certification (International Association for Public Participation). Previous experience working with government or public organizations. Experience developing and supporting virtual systems and online engagement tools.
