Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum (5 years) current Pediatric Critical Care nursing experience obtained in the last 7 years. Active PALS (within 2 years). Demonstrated ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team. Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing and fluctuating workloads. Demonstrated ability in organizing and planning care in a busy, fast paced environment. Demonstrated effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Current ACH pediatric transport team experience. Active ENCP (within 4 years). Active TNCC (within 4 years). Active ACLS (within 2 years). ACCN certification. Up to date Annual Continuing Education. SEC, EMR trained.
