Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Qualifications:The candidate must be able to work within a team environment and to effectively contribute to patient/client planning processes and delegate care to other personnel, as appropriate. Excellent communication skills, a compassionate and caring attitude, and attention to detail are required. Ability to balance numerous demands and conflicting priorities while safely caring for moderate to highly acute patients is essential.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent acute Gastroenterology/Hepatology experience is preferred.
