Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or related healthcare field. Minimum five (5) years of related experience, preferably in a healthcare environment working with medical staff or physician related strategies. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. Additional Required Qualifications:
Project or program management skills & knowledge. Practical experience in strategy, policy development, leadership, change management and risk management. Demonstrated data analytical skills. Effective communication & facilitation skills with strong organizational skills, client focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. In particular, the ability to write clearly and succinctly about complex issues and options. Demonstrated application of business planning, modeling concepts, and program and project management theories, principles and practices. Uses strategic thinking, considering long-term goals assessing options and implications. Ability to manage change and create innovative solutions for complex and diverse issues. Proven ability to foster partnerships and cooperation to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization and managing within a unionized sector that interacts with numerous public agencies, government, boards, committees and other partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience within a health environment, and the ability to work in a complex environment with competing priorities an asset. Possesses Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
