The Lois Hole Hospital for Women is seeking a creative and strategic Digital Content Creator to develop engaging, relevant content that connects our programs and services to women of all ages and life stages. This role is essential in elevating the hospital’s visibility and deepening understanding of the specialized care we provide in women’s health. Working in close collaboration with the Executive Director of Women's Health, Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation and the Alberta Health Services (AHS) Communications team, this position will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong, authentic digital presence for LHHW. You will craft high-quality content that informs and inspires—covering clinical programs, patient services, and innovative initiatives. Your work will also integrate research and academic partnerships, reinforcing LHHW’s position as a leader in evidence-based care and excellence in women's health. By highlighting our affiliations and showcasing the expertise behind our services, your content will drive engagement across platforms while supporting key institutional priorities.
Description:
We’re looking for a dynamic Content Creator to help elevate the Lois Hole Hospital for Women (LHHW) to a national stage, aligning our voice with leading women's health institutions across Canada. This is a unique opportunity to craft compelling digital content that showcases our excellence in women’s health care and strengthens our brand presence. As the Content Creator, you will lead the development of engaging, user-focused content designed to attract and inform a diverse audience—including patients, families, healthcare providers, staff, and donors. Your work will drive website traffic, increase conversions, and promote meaningful interaction with the LHHW brand across both internal and external platforms. Through storytelling, educational materials, multimedia, and strategic messaging, you’ll play a key role in expanding awareness of LHHW’s programs, services, and national impact.

Proven organizational and creative skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, understand the target audience. Confident written and verbal communication skills. High degree of computer literacy. Experience in a large, complex healthcare institution.
Additional Required Qualifications:Significant experience creating high-quality marketing content Capable of managing multiple competing priorities In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 or similar platforms Comprehensive understanding of impactful marketing tactics Comfortability with more than one language Typing speed of over 80 words per minute
Preferred Qualifications:Building a network of other content creators and industry professionals can provide valuable insights and opportunities. Proficiency with various tools, including software for writing, video editing, and graphic design, can be beneficial. While not mandatory, a background in communication, marketing, or a related field can be helpful.
