Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary degree in a health care profession, business or related field. Relevant project management specific education, training, or certification in project management from an accredited institution. 3 years of progressive experience in project management, including knowledge of project management principles, tools and methodologies. Experience with coordinating/leading teams through facilitation/coordination of project planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation. Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a unique project environment where project resources and subject matter experts have limited availability to contribute; demonstrated ability to move projects forward within these constraints. Demonstrated skill in verbal and written communication; ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult situations. Experience with MS Office suite, including MS Project and Visio. Motivated and adaptable team player. Proven ability to foster relationships and partnerships with complex and varied internal and external individuals and groups. Ability to work independently, prioritize and meet deadlines. Demonstrated application of systems thinking, and change management.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Knowledge and skills in relevant knowledge management practices and other practices applicable to the KM department and System Innovations and Programs portfolio. Skill and experience in critical thinking, analysis, problem solving, negotiation, investigation and concerns resolution. Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making and communication, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Ability to develop and facilitate presentations to convey information or transfer knowledge. Facilitation and mediation skills. Experience leading project teams and large projects within healthcare. Breadth of knowledge of healthcare and healthcare issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional designation in project management (e.g. PMP). 3 years of experience working in a healthcare organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. Training in process improvement, change management and health services planning is an asset. Experience with MS SharePoint is an asset. Experience working directly with clinicians; comfortable communicating with physicians, other health care professionals and executives.
