Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program, with a minimum of a Master's degree. Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA) on the Nurse Practitioner Registrar, including Provisional Graduate Nurse Practitioner licensure. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:Experience working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, including oncologists and other specialized multidisciplinary roles. Ability to promote change process. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated experience with excellent patient and family centered care. Please note this posting will be used to fill 2 available positions. FTE can range from 0.8 to 1.0
Preferred Qualifications:Canadian Nurses Association certification credentials in Oncology nursing. NP experience in Oncology or Acute Care or evidence of expert level practice skills. Experience in advanced practice role and related certifications, such as CON(C). Clinical Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook Express and access to electronic medical records (Epic and Alberta NetCare).
