Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Additional Required Qualifications:

BCLS issued from Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada (HSFC) only. Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job. Duties that involve periods of physical activity such as standing, bending, walking and lifting. Preferred Qualifications:

Depth & breadth of nursing knowledge & complex reasoning reflective of level of education. Strong communication skills with effective negotiation & conflict resolution skills to improve inter-professional patient/community-centered care. Compassionate & caring attitude; conveying respect & dignity of all persons. Related experience in Collaborated Practices and Medicine preferred.
