Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
Additional Required Qualifications:A minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience is necessary. The candidate must have experience in conducting physical, addiction, and mental health assessments within their scope of practice. Demonstrated time management skills are essential. Strong organizational and communication abilities, along with a proven track record of effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, are required. Preferred Qualifications:A minimum of 2-3 years of recent experience working with clients in an addiction and mental health setting is preferred. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in working with vulnerable populations. Additionally, the candidate will have completed Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) training and Suicide Intervention Training.
