Required Qualifications:

Completion of certificate in Computer Support or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

2-3 Years of Service Desk/Help Desk experience. 2-3 Years of telecommunications industry experience. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal. Direct experience with telecommunications incident and request management. Must demonstrate the ability to manage workflow through multiple streams (telephone, application, email, instant message). Working-level knowledge of desktop telephony devices (analog, digital and Voice over IP). Advanced knowledge of telecommunication PBX features and functionality, covering systems by manufacturers such as (but not limited to) Avaya, Cisco, Mitel and NEC. Working-level knowledge of the ServiceNow service management system. This position involves managing telecommunications equipment inventory. This requires the physical ability and dexterity to move telecommunications equipment and hardware within a facility/storage space, with the ability to lift packages weighing up to approximately 18kg (40 lbs.)

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of logic-based computer languages and hardware. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Visio) Familiarity with telecommunication applications such as voicemail, call recording, and call detail reporting. Familiarity with ITIL best practices. Cisco Collaboration Certification. Ability to create reports, inventory tracking documents, and operational processes, using various Microsoft Office applications.
