Required Qualifications:

All Non-Union/Exempt positions are being reviewed for possible inclusion in the AUPE General Support Services bargaining unit. If this position is impacted, the incumbent will be notified accordingly. Post-secondary 4-year degree in a health care profession, business or related field (equivalent to a Baccalaureate degree for internationally educated applicants) - Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered 2 - 5 years of progressive experience in consultation and/or project management, including extensive knowledge of project management principles, tools and methodologies Experience with stakeholder relationship building and fostering relationships with patient/family advisors Demonstrated skill in verbal and written communication Demonstrated application of systems thinking, and change management Demonstrated strength in verbal and written communication skills; ability to relay or explain complex issues or difficult situations Experience with MS Office suite, including MS Project and Visio


Additional Required Qualifications:

3 - 5 years of clinical experience working in a healthcare organization of significant size, complexity and diversity Previous experience in health innovation or other entrepreneurial endeavors Experience working directly with clinicians and health professionals; comfortable communicating with SCNs, health care professionals, senior executives, other AHS departments and external partners Training in project management methodology Experience with project management, including facilitation/coordination of project planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a unique project environment where project resources and subject matter experts have limited availability to contribute; ability to move projects forward within these constraints Training in process improvement, change management and health services planning is an asset Breadth of knowledge of healthcare and healthcare issues Skill and experience in critical thinking, analysis, problem solving, negotiation, investigation and concerns resolution Motivated and adaptable team player with experience coordinating/leading teams
