Required Qualifications:

Law Degree from an accredited University. Eligible or licensed to practice law in Alberta and a member in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta. Minimum of 10 years of legal practice experience in the areas of labour, employment, human rights and privacy in a unionized environment. Experience leading and supervising teams of legal counsel and support staff. Practiced expertise with applicable legislation including the Alberta Labour Relations Code, Employment Standards Code, the Alberta Human Rights Act, the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Expertise representing clients and navigating administrative tribunals, arbitrations and litigation. Public sector experience collaborating with Interdisciplinary stakeholders.

As Required.


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Health Care Organization. Experience working with Government Ministries.
