A degree or diploma in communications, journalism or related field. Two or more years experience in a communications role. A combination of education, skills and experience may be required.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organization, interpersonal and time management skills. Attention to detail and sound decision-making skills. Demonstrated relationship-building skills. Proven initiative and motivation. Ability to manage tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities. Demonstrated ability to work with confidential, sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a healthcare organization may be considered an asset.
