Administrative Support V
Your Opportunity:
Primary responsibility for this role is to assist with the North Zone Medical Affairs Physician Extender Program. Assisting the manager to post positions, review applicants, ensure criteria requirements are met, schedule interviews, onboard, schedule & track assessments, time keep and generally help the North Zone Associate Physicians, Associate Surgical Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners under this program. Determines priority of incoming tasks & responsibilities. Manages schedules by coordinating resources & determining appropriate timing & priority. Composes memos & documents for signature, proofreads correspondence for accuracy, grammar & proper format. Enters & tracks action requests & updates on the tracking system & bring forth due dates. Follows up with stakeholders to resolve issues & discrepancies. Provides administrative support for Zone Clinical Department Executive Committees. Provide support for meetings including meeting organization, minute taking, document preparation & necessary follow-up as required. Completes the end-to-end process of quality assurance by tracking data in a system or across multiple systems internal & external to the organization. Responds to client inquiries through reporting, researching & working with other departments to ensure positive functionality of the programs. Prepares reports as requested & special projects to assist the Manager/Director in decision making. In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable & is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).
Additional Required Qualifications:Four years of related health care experience. Three to five year’s administrative experience with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Considerable working knowledge of general of AHS systems and processes. Considerable working knowledge of office software databases (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access) to respond to action requests and to prepare and edit correspondence and respond to stakeholder inquiries. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
