Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous experience in Diagnostic Imaging. Minimum 3 months recent experience in a hospital or medical environment, involved in booking. Medical Terminology course. Accurate and proficient Keyboarding skills, 35 wpm required; typing test may be required. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email).
Preferred Qualifications:Previous electronic Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling experience preferred. Absolute attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent knowledge of the English language both written and oral. Demonstrated ability to maintain a professional image, manage stressful situations with empathy and to remain calm, courteous, sensitive and tactful at all times. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Skilled at paying close attention to detail. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
