Completion of a two-year diploma in Office Administration, or Post-secondary education/courses in human resources. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 5 years advanced administrative support, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Competence with using human resources management system, recruitment and payroll software. Competence in the use of Microsoft Office products. Competence in the use of word processing, spreadsheets and database programs. Considerable knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment. Knowledge of data entry and word-processing. Excellent communication/interpersonal /organizational skills. Excellent formatting, grammar and proofreading skills. Ability to complete duties with numerous interruptions. Ability to prioritize and balance workload. Ability to coordinate meetings. Ability to handle incoming phone calls in a courteous and effective manner. Ability to be an effective team member. Ability to be flexible and willing to learn new concepts. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Must have good command of the English language.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a health care setting is an asset.
