A minimum of a high school completion with diploma in business administration is preferred plus five years progressively responsible related experience is required. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Utilize diplomacy in interactions with key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient with a high level of discretion, professionalism and confidentiality. Stay focused and efficient in managing multiple priorities. Prioritize workload and produce high quality work under pressure while ensuring that all deadlines are met. Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication skills including formatting, grammar, syntax and proofreading skills. Strong track record of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships. Commitment to operating as an individual or in a team environment. Expert knowledge on office software databases (ALL Microsoft Office programs including, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and internet applications are essential) in order to respond to action requests, and to prepare and edit correspondence, and respond to stakeholder inquiries. Other skills include proficiency with e-People, SharePoint, MarkView, and iExpense. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within a large, diverse organization. Ability to manage resources in a changing and multifaceted environment with diverse, complex, and sensitive issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition, the incumbent will possess a working knowledge of: Alberta Health Services systems and processes. General office policies and procedures including, but not limited to, financial policies, electronic communication requests system, Freedom of Information and Privacy (FOIP), human resources and expense claims systems. Diverse interests of multiple stakeholders including the general public. Computer software programs.
