Your Opportunity:

The Administrative Support IV will provide and coordinate administrative support throughout the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. The incumbent will be working in a unique environment, which requires a calm and patient demeanor and open and effective written and verbal communication skills. The position requires an individual with a strong but professional attitude. The ideal candidate will work within a team environment but is expected to work independently, with minimal error in a highly professional and responsible manner, as well as understand the goals, policies and procedures of the department and should be able to bring forward ideals to problem-solve issues as they arise. Responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the Undergraduate Medical Education, managing calendars of clinical leaders, arranges and schedules the surgical bookings, assists other Departmental support staff in arranging meetings and events. Organizes and maintains Department files and records. Responsible for office wide duties such as photocopying, room and AV equipment booking, supply ordering, mail sorting, phone calls and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Some post-secondary education.

Additional Required Qualifications:

3 years or more experience in a healthcare and/or academic setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

University degree is considered as a very strong asset. Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Suite with excellent typing skills. Connect Care trained is an asset.
