Extensive knowledge and understanding of Women’s Health clinical practice and workflows along with Alberta Health Services as an organization. Minimum 10 years of progressive responsibility in leading organizational change for programs or organizations of significant size and complexity, including management and leadership experience in Women’s Health Specialized experience in transformational change, organizational change management, project management, process improvement. Significant experience in the application of change tools and methodologies. Certifications related to management, leadership, and change management (PROSCI certified). Experienced in the Connect Care system or similar/equivalent Health Care Electronic Medical Records. Strong leadership skills as characterized by recent and relevant references.
Additional Required Qualifications:Adaptability/flexibility – demonstrating flexibility with respect to changing end-user business needs. Critical Thinking – the ability and willingness to see things in an open-minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible. Dependability – the ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate, efficient and timely manner. Initiative – the ability and willingness to recognize assignments or tasks that need to be completed, to see out additional assignments or tasks, and to help others. Strong Relationship Building and Interpersonal Skills – ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership and subject matter experts. Learning – the ability and willingness to learn new software and systems. Skilled in consensuses building as this is a provincial platform and requires provincial decision-making to inform best practice and standards of care. Listening – ensure the intended message has been accurately received, holding responses until the person has finished making their point. etc. Although this is considered an office based job, it will take significant psychological capacity given the nature, profile and expectation of Connect Care work. It will also require physical stamina given the expected stakeholder engagement work that may involve travel, site visits and meetings at varied times of day (early morning/evening), etc.
Preferred Qualifications:Significant management, leadership and change management expertise and examples of successful change management initiatives of complex projects. Ability to be creative and innovative with novel approaches that resonate with frontline staff and leaders. Significant exposure to work like this is expected to best prepare a Leader to be successful in a change management role of high profile/high risk project like Connect Care. 2-4 years’ experience in Connect Care. Masters Degree preferred.
