Degree or diploma in nursing. Registration with professional college as appropriate. Minimum of five (5) years direct front-line health care experience with demonstrated informal leadership competencies. Knowledge & skills in clinical supervision. Current CPR certification (Heart and Stroke Foundation BLS Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership and competency in leading self, engaging others, achieving results, building relationships/ coalitions and championing system change. Evidence of excellent interpersonal communication skills (verbal, non-verbal and written). Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, coaching, evaluating skills. Ability to work collaboratively with frontline department staff, patients and families, and other internal and external stakeholders and leaders. Excellent conflict management and resolution skills.
