Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.

Additional Required Qualifications:

1 year experience as a unit clerk in an acute care setting within the last 2 years. Will consider a successful final practicum in an ICU setting within the last 6 months as equivalent. Excellent interpersonal skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Critical care/ emergency unit clerk experience. Strong working knowledge of medical terminology. Proficient in computer applications such as excel, PDF, Microsoft teams, I-request, E facilities. Knowledge and proficiency in utilizing electronic health systems such as: Connect Care, Netcare, MUSE. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and able to prioritize many competing needs. Detail orientated with work and processes.
