Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program or recent experience (within the past 6 months) as a Unit Clerk on a dynamic, acute care unit (e.g. L&D, Emergency) (within the past 6 months).
Preferred Qualifications:2-year Unit Clerk experience in L&D preferred. Connect Care and Netcare patient registration preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills. Ability to work independently, organize and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal skills . Understanding of patient and family centered care, ability to establish relationships with patients and families.
