Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Unit Clerk Course or equivalent training program.
Additional Required Qualifications:Proficient in the following computer skills: Connect Care, Clinibase, Microsoft Office. Medical Terminology required. Ability to work in a highly acute and fast paced patient care area. Adapt to frequent interruptions and require strong interpersonal skills. Strong organization skills, with the ability to prioritize work and problem solve. Ability to tolerate constant sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, bending, reaching and sustained posture within a fast-paced unit requiring lifting, pushing, pulling of objects greater than 20 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications:Recent clerical experience in a health care setting, acute care preferred.
