Completion of post-secondary diploma in a related field.
Additional Required Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Non GDL Class 5 Drivers License is required. Current Community Peace Officer status. Successful completion of a Physical Abilities Requirements Evaluation (PARE) with a time under 4:45 is required within 6 months of application. Strong knowledge of computer systems and applications, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Access.
Preferred Qualifications:Post-Secondary education in Security, Law Enforcement or Criminal Justice. Two years’ experience within the security or law enforcement community is an asset. Experience teaching or instructing others. Experience working with the Training and Development Unit as a volunteer or auxiliary instructor. CPI Instructor Certification.
