Completion of diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training may be considered.
Additional Required Qualifications:Two year Diploma from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant/Occupational Therapy Assistant program is required.- Experience working as 2 or more of the following: PT assistant, OT assistant, SLP assistant, or Rec. T Assistant is required.- Demonstration of strong clinical reasoning and judgment is required.- Experience working in a collaborative interdisciplinary team is required.- Experience working in an adult in-patient acute care setting is required.- Must be willing to acquire and maintain certification in BCLS-HCP.- An excellent attendance record, reliability and personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment references. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs, assist in moving/transferring patients and tolerate wearing lead vest for videofluoroscopic studies
