Required Qualifications:

NPI (National Payroll Institute) PCP or PLP certification is required. Supervisory experience leading a team. Over 5 years of progressive payroll and time & labour experience in a large and complex organization.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience with multiple terms of employment and/or collective agreements. Sound knowledge and expertise in HR Management Systems including reporting tools and PeopleSoft. Confident and comfortable completing Performance Appraisals and having performance conversations. Able to manage and lead a team to deliver on quality, accuracy and sustainable targets aligned with organizational operational priorities. Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple and competing priorities. Proven experience providing client focused service with a commitment to providing long term quality services. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation and build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Proficient in MS Office suite, including Excel and Access or other databases. Experience working in a unionized environment. Experience in a Healthcare environment.
