Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Supply Coordinator, you will be required to perform numerous duties related to customer service and supply distribution functions. In this role you will initiate orders, track medical surgical supplies and equipment, track transactions, monitor inventory levels, manage repairs and loaner devices, and ensure that supplies are available for optimum patient care. You will also be responsible for inventory counts, record keeping, and documentation.

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Experience in health care procurement and shipping/receiving processes.
Additional Required Qualifications:Working knowledge of procurement, inventory control, accounting, and medical terminology. Previous experience working in a surgical environment. Computer literacy with relevant Oracle and Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel). Periods of extensive walking and standing; and reach, lift, and carry heavy items up to 25 kg required. At times, may spend long periods of time sitting at a desk with a computer. Regular dialogue with vendors to ensure timely delivery of needed items to uphold patient procedures that are time sensitive due to surgical case bookings.
Preferred Qualifications:Course in Healthcare Supply Chain Management considered an asset. Previous experience working with vendors to manage consignment inventories.
