Required Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma or certificate required. Active registration in good standing with CLPNA. Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider. Minimum 5 years working as an LPN, preferably in a Home Care community experience. Previous leadership, supervisory experience. Previous experience working with HCAs. Knowledge, skill, ability and willingness to work to full scope of practice. Commitment to continuous learning relevant to LPN practice. Ability to utilize critical thinking skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience and use of technology and competency in computer, smartphone, clinical electronic device use, electronic documentation and related software applications.


Additional Required Qualifications:

3-5 years’ experience working as an LPN in Acute or Community care. Knowledge of nursing standards, and HCA scope of practice. Ability to problem solve, prioritize and organize work with minimal supervision. Effective communication and mentoring skills in a team environment. Proof of ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.


Preferred Qualifications:

Nursing experience in a Rural community/Rural Health. Post Diploma/degree education. Leadership education, formal or informal. Experience with Connect Care and staff scheduling application (MySchedule/Infor WFM). Experience with MRF ESO Work alone application.
