Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must be capable of pushing and pulling heavy wheeled carts up to and occasionally exceeding 275 Kgs. Must be capable of walking and or standing for long periods of time. Must regularly use hand and arms to reach, lift, and carry heavy items up to 25 kg.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must have the ability to read/write/communicate and comprehend English fluently. Ability to communicate with all levels of staff, customers and vendors. Must pay attention to detail and able to adapt to changing priorities. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs including excel and able to make basic mathematical calculations. Must have experience in computerized inventory control system. Must be able to work with minimal notice, noting that casual staff are required during peak holiday times (this includes summertime). Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to candidates with recent shipping and receiving experience in a hospital setting. Please Note this is a casual position to work in Sturgeon along with other rural sites. Short notice calls can occur. Call ins will be Monday to Friday and possibly Sundays for day shifts.
