Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. Active or eligible registration and practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in an adult or pediatric rehabilitation setting. Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in the area of Augmentative and Alternative Communication. Awareness and knowledge of the range of operating systems (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android) with a positive attitude towards use of technology. Current clinical knowledge in the areas of acquired speech and/or language disorders, neurodegenerative diagnoses, and neurological disorders. Current clinical knowledge in the areas aided language, complex communication disorders and children with special needs. Experience with case management and community consultation. Experience in providing education for professional staff. Knowledge of AADL eligibility for SGCD Benefit Area.

Preferred Qualifications:

CASLPA certification. Current AADL Authorizer status.
