Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Must have a Masters degree in Social Work (M.S.W) from an accredited and recognized University program. Current full registration/licensure with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) with the ability to perform restricted activities required. Minimum 3-5 years clinical experience in the Mental Health field required. Minimum 3-5 years clinical work experience at the MSW level working within a community mental health program required. Active working knowledge of current mental health legislation required. Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, interviewing techniques and writing skills required. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. In depth knowledge of Mental Health/Mental Illness required. Clinical experience in the provision of individual/ group therapy modalities required. Non-violent crisis intervention required. Travel within Calgary and the surrounding area may be required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Clinical experience working with a forensic mental health population preferred. Community Mental health experience working with forensic populations preferred. Couples and Family therapy an asset. Active working knowledge of Criminal Justice Systems an asset.
