Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Social Work. (equivalent education or experience may be considered). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Training in CBT, DBT, Group Psychotherapy, Family therapy &/or other endorsed forms of therapy is required. Minimum 3- Years prior experience in an acute mental health setting required. Minimum 3 years prior Clinical experience in a community mental health setting required. Experience providing therapy and psychosocial interventions required. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team required. Experience in a Community mental health setting required. Experience providing therapy and psychosocial interventions required. Strong interpersonal communication skills, interviewing techniques and writing skills as well as the ability to work within an interdisciplinary setting required. Minimum 3-5 years' current experience in providing mental health assessment and intervention, including restricted activity of psychosocial intervention (as per college requirements). Solid working knowledge of mental health illness.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a forensic mental health setting an asset (Community Forensics preferred). Experience working with Sexual and domestic violence offenders an asset. Prior experience providing clinical supervision in a community mental health setting preferred. 3-5 years clinical experience providing treatment/therapy to an offending population/ individuals involved with the legal system an asset.
