Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in social work (acute and/or ambulatory care) in a health service organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. Experience mentoring, coaching, educating peers. Demonstrated knowledge and engagement in social work services related to best practices, governance, legislation, ethics, and current issues. Demonstrated clear pattern of professional/leadership development. Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including experience working with interdisciplinary teams. Knowledge and application of trauma-informed care. Demonstrated ability to identify, manage and resolve conflict. Demonstrated ability to implement and facilitate program and practice change within a complex health care environment. Excellent critical thinking, communication and organizational skills are a must. Proficient computer use (e.g. Microsoft Office, MS Teams).
Preferred Qualifications:Experience in Connect Care. Experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings is preferred. Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience within a healthcare setting is preferred. Experience representing a department or organization at the zone and/or provincial level.
