Master's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Master’s in Social Work, or equivalent along with experience. Current BLS required. Recent experience in medical social work, with emphasis on crisis intervention required. Previous experience and training in crisis work required. Ability to work in a high stress, dynamic environment. Recent experience in working with patients/families facing chronic and/or life threatening illness required. Demonstrated ability to work independently and be creative. Experience and advanced skill in providing therapy to individuals and families. Demonstrated ability to function effectively with interdisciplinary team required. Demonstrated interest in research and evidence-based practice. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility required.
