Required Qualifications:

Completion of master's degree in Social Work. (equivalent education or experience may be considered). Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

A minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric social work, in a tertiary, acute health care setting. Formal training and demonstrated ability to deliver trauma–informed interventions. Formal training and demonstrated ability in crisis intervention. Formal training and demonstrated experience supporting families through grief and loss. Demonstrated experience with the intersection of child welfare and medical Social Work to address child maltreatment and neglect. Advanced interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to organize work and set priorities autonomously. Computer proficiency. BCLS- HCP certification required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with the provision of clinical Social Work in a Pediatric ED & Critical Care setting.
