Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
Additional Required Qualifications:Diversity and Inclusion training. Indigenous awareness training. Basic Life Support. Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple physicians and agencies. Current experience in an NICU environment and experience in an acute care pediatric hospital setting with well-developed problem-solving skills. Active listening and empathy. Critical thinking for complex situations and solution focused.
Preferred Qualifications:A proven team player with the ability to engage both families and dynamic professionals is essential. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. Second language. Analytical skill. Well-developed written and oral communication. Must be highly organized.
