Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of Social Work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment. This position requires a high degree of independence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, an ability to prioritize workload. Knowledge and ability to use computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams is highly recommended.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working in the area of Mental Health and Addiction. Prior experience with Geriatric issues and care of the elderly. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working in an interdisciplinary team is preferred. Knowledge of relevant legislative Acts and experience with Mental Health Act, Guardianship, Trusteeship, Personal Directives and capacity assessment processes is an asset.
