Required Qualifications:

Completion of diploma in Social Work. Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).

Additional Required Qualifications:

2 years of experience working with youth and families exhibiting risk (domestic violence, suicidality, self-harm, etc). Strong technical skills required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to quickly develop relationship and rapport with others is considered an asset. Strong understanding of trauma informed care is essential. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with complex youth and families considered an asset. Knowledge of community resources and AHS mental health services available within the Central Zone for child and families. Working in Connect Care is considered an asset. Strong computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Excel is considered an asset.
