Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy, Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse program. Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BCLS-HCP) Certificate. Registered with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA).

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years' experience working in a related health field. Extensive knowledge of all types of sleep disorders and their relevance to patient population. Experience with titrations of CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, and Oxygen. Ability to identify sleep disorders through the analysis of the sleep study.

Preferred Qualifications:

Working knowledge of cardiovascular, respiratory, and sleep anatomy and physiology required. Proven ability to identify sleep disorders through the analysis of the sleep study. Proven advanced problem-solving abilities. Strong patient assessment and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment and to interact positively and in a professional manner with staff, physicians, patients and other visitors to the Sleep Laboratory.
