Current CPR (BCLS-HCP). Minimum of 3 years current operating room experience in a high acuity Surgical Suite. Minimum 2 years of leadership experience as a supervisor or Team Leader. Completion of grade 12 education or equivalent. Ability to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time and perform repetitive movements.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Ability to manage in a highly organized and rapidly moving environment. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to demonstrate communications skills that promote respect and a positive team environment. Demonstrates advanced problem-solving skills integrating critical thinking and good judgment. A strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is necessary. Effective teamwork, conflict resolution, change and resource management skills are essential, incumbent should have effective interpersonal and written communication skills. Knowledge and experience working with diverse and marginalized populations using an equity, diversity, inclusion lens. Advanced computer skills including experience in Microsoft Outlook, Office, and email.
Preferred Qualifications:
WHMIS certification. A minimum of 3 years working as a Service Worker in a high acuity Surgical Suite. Completion of Post secondary education.
