Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Current CPR certification required. Ability to work independently, set priorities, show good judgment and cooperation in daily tasks required. Must demonstrate ability to effectively communicate with coworkers and other staff. The ability to read, speak, and write English fluently is required. Must be contentious, reliable, and able to work as a team member. Physical suitability for reoccurring lifting, reaching, bending, stooping, standing, pushing, and walking for long periods of time is required. Must be sensitive to patients’ need for personal dignity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference given to individuals with experience in patient portering.
