Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Additional Required Qualifications:

The successful candidate must be able to push and pull heavy trash and linen bins weighing between 250kg to 450kg each, to be able to stand and walk for the majority of your shift, lift up to 20kgs from the floor to waist, and perform repetitive physical movements. This individual must be able to safely drive an electric powered tractor in hospital hallways where public and staff foot traffic is common. Also, the successful candidate will inspect carts, electric tractor and garbage compactor to identify defects and safety issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

Being familiar with the physical layout of Chinook Regional Hospital along with material handling in a hospital setting and previous WHMIS and TDG training will be considered an asset.
