Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computing sciences, engineering, or a communications-related discipline, with specific coursework in technical writing (Clearly demonstrated equivalencies may be considered). A broad portfolio of work and at least 6 to 8 years of technical writing experience in an IT environment. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Strong group facilitation and interview/ discovery skills. Fluency in standard desktop productivity tools (MS Office suite) and SharePoint, plus strong working knowledge of applicable technical writing tools for Help authoring, desktop publishing, graphic design, screen and video capture. Ability to travel occasionally if required.
Additional Required Qualifications:As required.
Preferred Qualifications:8 to 10 years’ experience in producing technical documents in an IT environment, with at least 4 years at a senior level, demonstrating a strong working knowledge of IT technologies and services. Knowledge or experience of health care would be an asset.
