A minimum of a Masters degree (Ph.D. preferred), in data science or a health-related discipline that includes a strong grounding in data processing, graduate-level statistical analysis training, and visualization. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. A minimum of 5 years working in an organization of considerable size and complexity. Skills must include high proficiency in SQL (Oracle syntax), implementation of advanced statistical analyses using SQL (and at times SAS and/or R and/or python).
Additional Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following personal characteristics: the ability to work well as part of a team, often in high pressure situations with tight timelines; detail oriented and possess critical thinking skills; ability to deal with complex or sensitive issues in a professional manner; a strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in the following areas: Proficiency in a general-purpose coding language such as python. Working with large healthcare datasets. Experience as a Tableau developer. Using geographic information systems (GIS) software. Cloud compute/data storage environments, specifically, Snowflake.
