Your Opportunity:

The Senior Project Manager reports directly to the Executive Director, Ambulatory Care, in a key project planning and support role across the ACH site. The Senior Project Manager works with a high degree of independence providing leadership and planning support for the initiatives related primarily to Vi Riddell Pain and Rehabilitation services. This includes development, conceptualization, organization and management of project requirements based on the priority needs and vision for these services. The Project Manager identifies and uses appropriate project, process improvement and change management tools, and evaluation frameworks to support various initiatives. Projects may span across the entire ACH with multiple interdependencies and involve a variety of disciplines and sectors within the portfolio and provincial AHS teams/programs as well as with community stakeholders/partners. The Project Manager leads and facilitates engagement of various internal and external stakeholders including clinical staff, physician leaders, site management, and senior and executive leaders to strategize and lead efficient and effective health service projects/initiatives that are in alignment with organization and site goals. The Project Manager develops and maintains partnerships to foster and promote collaboration in the development and implementation of service plans and initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in a healthcare profession, healthcare management, business administration or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation. Minimum three to five years in health care management and/or expertise in project management. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.

Additional Required Qualifications:

In addition, the Project Manager has: Developed a broad knowledge of operations across the continuum of health care services. Expert knowledge in the field of Children’s Healthcare. Successful leadership experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change in previous project management or process improvement projects. Team leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Excellent analytical and evidence-based decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, ability to influence/persuade, client/patient focused and commitment to providing quality services. Experience in coordinating improvement projects or teams, complex data analysis and/or interpretation, evaluation methodologies, developing formal reports and presenting to stakeholders. Knowledge of health performance/utilization data.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a related field (Health, Administration, Business).
