Undergraduate degree in a healthcare profession, healthcare management, business administration or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation. Minimum three to five years in health care management and/or expertise in project management. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Additional Required Qualifications:In addition, the Project Manager has: Developed a broad knowledge of operations across the continuum of health care services. Expert knowledge in the field of Children’s Healthcare. Successful leadership experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Demonstrated ability to facilitate change in previous project management or process improvement projects. Team leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Excellent analytical and evidence-based decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to foster relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, ability to influence/persuade, client/patient focused and commitment to providing quality services. Experience in coordinating improvement projects or teams, complex data analysis and/or interpretation, evaluation methodologies, developing formal reports and presenting to stakeholders. Knowledge of health performance/utilization data.
Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in a related field (Health, Administration, Business).
